The 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Urban Network Magazine will continue in Houston, Texas at the 18th Annual URBAN NETWORK ENTERTAINMENT-MARKETING SUMMIT September 24 – 27, 2008 at the Hilton Americas Hotel & George Brown Convention Center. The publication, a long noted industry leader in dispensing music and entertainment information, will present a monumental conference bringing thousands of consumers, newcomers and professionals from the arts and entertainment industry. The continuation of the Summit will expand upon the notable groundwork that was laid in the previous Urban Network Conference in Newport Beach, California earlier this year
Urban Network CEO, Miller London has chosen Houston based Diamax Promotions and Management Corporation founded by Carletta Shepherd, CEO to co-host the event. The company’s staff, led by Paris Eley, President a veteran entertainment and music industry executive, has joined with the distinguished Urban Network team to present a comprehensive and detailed conference focused on networking, careers in music, broadcasting, theatre, fashion, film and the basic “How to be effective” in the industry. The panels, forums, and workshops will include highly regarded leaders that shall yield valuable information for attendees who are beginning, developing, or established in these fields.
URBAN NETWORK ENTERTAINMENT-MARKETING SUMMIT – Houston 08 is open to industry people and consumers from throughout the world. Between six and eight thousand registrants, attendees and vendors are expected to come together with corporate and individual sponsors.
