…presenting Singer/Songwriter, ASHLEY FORRESTIER – The Creole Queen
Fueled by the Saints’ historic win that sealed the team’s first appearance in the Super Bowl, songstress Ashley Forrestier was inspired. Reflecting on a city that was broken down by wind and water, the Saints NFC victory turned the tide and New Orleans natives were able to stand proudly with strength. Ashley felt an overwhelming need to memorialize the moment.
The resulting songs, “Who Dat [Going to the Super Bowl]” and “Who Dat [Super Bowl] VICTORY REMIX“ are upbeat celebration anthems that clearly convey a sense of Cresecent City pride. Produced by New Orleans native, Alverez the MostCold, the project’s tempo is reminiscent of the party mood for which the Big Easy is known.
